CVO Screamin' Eagle Dyna

My husband wanted to find a winter beater as his mini van was so old and cold in the winter. We went riding around looking for something cheap. when we past the local HD Dealer. Hubby said for shits and giggles that we should take a look around. As I strolled around the shop, I came across this red bike with so much chrome that it spoke to me. I called him over to look at it and it was love at first sight. Needless to say, he didn't get his winter beater. We road his SE Vrod every chance we got. After a while, he suggested that I get my own bike. I had taken the Riders Edge course at a local HD dealer and was searching for the right bike. Hubby called me over to look at a chromed out blue bike, and I fell in love. It was an '08 FXDSE2 , the CVO Screamin Eagle Dyna in cobalt and midnight blue. As much as I love it, I thought it would be to much for a first bike. I searched for about a month and nothing screamed at me to take them home. Then hubby said to me, "get the bike that you really want in the first place, cause if I didn't, I wouldn't be happy with anything else". So I called the HD dealer to see if the CVO Dyna was still there, put a deposit down over the phone, and went in the next day to pick her up. As I said, I had taken the Riders Edge course and got my license, but the course just gives you the basic riding skills, and I wasn't ready for the road. Hubby would drive me over to a huge parking lot, after the workers left for the day, and I would practice, practice, practice. After 3 weeks of that I started out onto back roads. This was all in the fall of '07. In '08 I decided that I wanted to go to Sturgis. What a blast that was!! Now that I've been riding for almost 3 years, all I can say is................Why didn't I do this sooner?!?

I am so proud of you:) I am just that beginner, practice everyday in the parking lot. Just started riding on the road last week and it is awesome and intimidating at the same time. Good for you, ride on and have a wonderful summer of riding :)
