Riding Baby Z

Here's a photo of me on the road. I'm in a motorcycle group and one of the members is crazy enough to take pictures of us all whenever we travel. On this trip, we were heading up the Hutchinson River Parkway for a fall foliage run. I really love riding with these women because they are so much more knowledgeable than I am about riding and routes. I just get to go along for the ride and enjoy.

Baby Z, is a Yamaha FZ6R. My first sport bike after a decade of cruisers. It perfectly fits my riding style and the roads here in NY. I can't imagine another bike fitting me better. It is smooth, fast, and nimble. Has just enough power to keep me interested. Every now and then I think I want a liter bike. I might rethink it if they ever make one with a 30" seat height. Otherwise, Baby Z and me will be together for a while. I broke 2000 miles on her before the snow started to fall.
