My '75 FLH Named No-Way
(Eureka Springs, AR)
1975 Harley Electra Glide
After constant frustration at only being able to ride when the guy was ready, I bought my own bike, then dumped the guy. He is a 1975 Electra Glide, mostly stock. I love the big fat look of the front end, cowling, and fenders. It has an awesome fat solo seat that has lots of spring. I put wider handlebars on it to make it more comfortable to ride. It is not a bike you lay back on, but sit atop, making it handle beautifully and letting the rider feel in complete control. Just had the top end redone on him and he's ready to go!
I'm about 5'9" so I'm plenty big enough to ride this bike and feel secure. It hugs the ground and is very well balanced. Gotta say when I pull up on this old shovel, he makes a lot of other bikes look skinny! I am not a chrome hog, or a polisher, I ride cause I love it and not for show! He has a few dings and scrapes (not from me) but he's a beauty in my eyes. A real head turner!
