Honda Shadow Spirit, 750, 2009

I just traded my Honda 250 Rebel for a 750 Shadow. This is my second season riding. I am in love with the new bike so much. I think the Rebel was good to learn on, but I feel more confident as a rider on the 750, even though I have only had her for two weeks (and am still learning). I am 5'9" and average/slightly more curvy in build. I just feel like I am in better control of the bigger bike. I felt scrunched up on the Rebel. Don't get me wrong, the 250 is a great bike, but the 750 is more comfortable for me. I'm still getting used to the increase in power, but I love it! I don't fill maxed out going 50 mph like I did before. I am still learning and sometimes struggling to make better slow speed turns, but my ability to do so has increased greatly with this new bike. Go figure!
