check fuel first
by: Sassy2731

I would suggest you check the fuel first! We have had several bikes come through our shop this year with fuel problems. Problem is the fuel itself! Don't let your bike sit for over 1week without cranking as the fuel will gum up in the carb or the injectors and stop them up. We have had to clean out this mess out of these bikes. Very big problem. I would suggest draining the fuel out for winter storage also to avoid problems come springtime. Even my own fatboy stared having problems too with the fuel injection. The hubby poured some of the fuel on the ground and it would burn for a quick second then leave a wet spot on the cement. The new fuel mixture that the gas companies are selling really sucks. worth checking this first!
