I just bought this bike.I had been riding a 250 Rebel for two years and I wanted something with more power. I had taken my Rebel in to have new tires put on and the guy who runs the parts dept. told me about this bike his brother had.His brother owns a body shop and traded some repair work for this bike. So that's why it has the paint job, checkers ghosted through the cream color. Well about 5 months after I was told about it I finally called about it. I thought it was beautiful. It also has a lot of decorative accesories and it has forward controls. I couldn't ride it because it was too tall.S o he took the seat off. I rode it around a parking lot and that was it. I was in love. I put a Reach solo seat on and still can't touch the ground since I'm only 4'11". So I bought 10.5" shocks wich go on today, I hope because I want to take it to a bike show tomorrow.

Nice bike, I love my Sporty 883, and I bet you will love yours too.

Mine is 2005 Standard. I tried the 883 Custom and the seat was higher, The 883 Standard has the solo seat which feels alot better. I actually was convinced it was a Low when I sat on it, the previous owner was sure it wasn't but the seat makes a big difference. Hopefully the new shocks will do the trick!

Have fun at the show (I hope, keeping my fingers crossed).
