2012 Sportster 72 by Harley Davidson

I bought a new Sportster 72 (new model, came out in 2012), latelast fall... I am a new rider, rode with husband (on Harleys) for 15 years. I took the MSF course last fall, been riding as much ass possible since... Im 5ft 3in and weigh 115 lbs. Sportster is top heavy for me soextra care taken on our hilly, gravel driveway. Once out on road doing fine... Have a super reduced reach Harley seat that puts me lower and forward and wear 2 in. heel motorcycle boots. Did not have it lowered yet, think iwill be good with more riding under my belt. Just now getting comfortable going speed limit on local twisty roads. Just noow starting to relax and enjoy the ride quite a bit!!!!

Keep up the pratice, it will make you more confident. Be careful with the two inch heels, hope they are rubber heels. If not, your feet can slip on gravel.

I have been riding since 2005 and love it. Never had a man to ride behind, so I did it on my own. I have taken ever class offered, for motorcycle riding. Beginner, Intermediate, and Civilian Top Gun all of them have made me a more confident rider. I even have some skills on my bike that most men don't have. If you want something bad enough you will do it.
