day we brought her home

January we bought a new Can-am Spyder.....I am in love with this bike!! it is so much fun to be on the road and have the wind in my face. After having anxiety attacks about getting back on 2 wheels after a fall last June, we brought the spyder home in January. Luckily - Hubby wants me on the road and not behind him when we ride. And he wants me on a bike that I am comfortable and confident when riding. We had a few problems....like me finding the bike gone when I got home from work and wanted to ride. He would take it to work. So - I put pink flames on her.

handling curves

Curves on a trike are different from a regular bike because instead of countersteering, you do more of a push/pull technique. it is not difficult to learn. I can handle any curve with my trike as well as my husband can on his regular bike. it just takes practice, as with any bike - You learn how to handle your bike. if you have ever driven an atv/4wheeler or snowmobile it is the same principle.

trike dilemma

I have had my 250 cc MB lisence for about 8 months and have loss my nerve due to a fall I would love to get a trike but my husband and bike friends reckon they are a problem when turning corners or travelling along a winding road about 80kms please give me some help and advice. Its been my dream for many years to ride and I dont want to give it up, thanks very much. Chris

Just purchased a new Spyder! got my permit last week and Hubby is teaching me to ride! I am so excited about this bike! We taught our sons to ride when they were 5! and I always road their dirt bikes! I have been a back seat driver for 50 years!! We have never had a problem, but my girl friends hubby has dropped her three times! So I asked hubby to get a trike for the times I would be with him! I fell so in LOVE with the Spyder that I decided to learn how to ride it myself!! Im having the time of my life!! besides when we are away at a Rally and if something was to happen I can take over the wheel!!! I plan to take the safe riding course in Sept! In NJ you can now get a Trike only Lic!!! I have the biggest smile on my face when I ride!! It doesnt get any better then this! Ride safe everyone

We have a friend who had never ridden a motorcycle and decided she wanted the Spyder. It is a pretty blue color that she had pinstripped and named "Sexy Beast". She loves it!
