2009 Honda Shadow Aero VT750C

I grew up riding on the back of my Dad's bike and then behind my husband on his Yamaha VStar 1300 touring bike..but I wanted my own bike. Many friends told me what I needed to have but I knew when I sat on the bike and felt comfortable that would be the bike for me.

A couple of years ago I learned how to drive and love it. Last spring I announced I was buying my bike that day. We went a local dealer and I sat on my Honda Shadow Aero. I love the fact that it is light weight and when I stand I can still control the bike with my feet flat on the ground ~ added bonus that I didn't need to lower it either. The handle bars are comfortable as is the seat.

Sure, I'm customizing my bike with floor boards, bags and mirrors (not shown in the picture) but the overall comfort of the bike came standard.

The price was very reasonable and although I didn't listen to anyone about what I "should" get everyone (including the Harley Riders in the group) love it.

I can't wait for this spring when I can get back out on the road.
