2007 Honda Shadow Spirit

This is my third bike, and I love it! I bought it new in 2008. The 750 Spirit is a great bike for a woman because of the seat height and weight of the bike. It has enough power to keep up with the big dogs (like my husband's Goldwing), but not too much to be scary. The Shadow Spirit is easy to handle and fun to ride.

I have added black leather saddlebags (a must for stowing essential gear), changed out the stock seat to a Mustang touring seat with drivers backrest (oh so comfy), changed the huge ugly stock tail light to a wide cat-eye tail light that fits under the bob rear fender, changed out the rear turn signals to small cat eye turn signals (which also had to be relocated a couple inches to the rear for the saddle bags to fit), and installed a Memphis Shades slim windshield.
My next modification plan is to change out the stock drag bars to possibly beach-knucklehead bars so I don't feel like I'm "reaching" so far and it will make longer rides a bit more comfortable. Then new pipes.

My favorite place to ride is in the Black Hills of South Dakota. This is an annual biking vacation for us, and a great time to explore the many scenic roads through the hills. This summer I am looking forward to a road trip with a group of lady bikers through Minnesota and along the north shore of Lake Superior.

I'd love to see pictures of the modified rear, since that is what I'm looking at doing on my '06 SS750.

Nice bike! I have been thinking of trading my Vulcan 500 for the Honda Shadow 750. My husband has an 1100cc Honda and there is no way I can keep up with him off "the starting line". Sounds like you guys have a great place to ride, we live in coastal North Carolina so the terrain is mostly flat here. Take care and have fun!
