Up on the Rims

I fell in love with this bike at the local Harley dealership very shortly after I learned to ride last summer. I had been riding a 2003 Sportster 883. It was a nice enough bike, but rode pretty rough and I definitely knew I had been riding all day. My Deluxe was traded in by a lady who had decided that she was old enough that she should give up riding. It had right at 2600 miles on it. I was in on a weekly basis to drool over it. Finally the business manager told me that I was meant to have that bike and she was willing to do whatever she could to get me into it. They gave me a great deal on my trade and on my Deluxe. How could I say no?I absolutely love my bike. The ride is amazing compared to my sportster. I am not sad to have made the investment. I see myself on this bike for a long long time.

advice
by: Cheryl

I went from a yamaha virago to a 2009 iron sporty. I love my Iron but also want to upgrade to a bike that will be more comfortable for those long rides! I have been considering the deluxe or fatboy low. I am a little nervous to test ride since they seem like alot of bike (I'm 5' and 100lbs) but my dream is to be able to tour and the sporty doesn't really cut it for comfort, for me anyways. I am told that the bigger bikes are like night and day compared to the sporty. Any advice? Thanks!

Sensible upgrade!!!!!
by: Bernice

I graduated from a sportster to a softtail fatboy with a lowering kit. I could not believe the difference it would make. Plenty of power, style, better control, the sportster requires more upper body control to maneuver, while I control my softtail from my knees down. Congratulations on your purchase and I hope you enjoy many years of accident free riding. After all, girls just want to have fun!!!!!!
