My New Used Honda

My first bike. I knew it was right for me when I saw it sitting in Mom's neighbor's driveway with the 'For Sale' sign. The bike has a low center of gravity so I feel very comfortable (unlike my husband's Kawasaki Z900).

2001 Honda Shadow Spirit 750

I'm a 50 year old mother of 3, grandmother of 9 and I own and ride a 2001 Honda Shadow Spirit 750. I love her & will NEVER get rid of her (even though I am thinking of moving up to a larger bike at some point). I call mine "Thelma" and my sister rides an 01 Harley Sportster she named "Louise".(In case you're wondering, NO, we're not riding off any cliff together...lol). The Honda Shadow is an awesome bike and is easy to handle. Unlike my sister's bike, Thelma is not top heavy at all.I love riding and the feeling of freedom it gives me. If you're trying to figure out a good bike to buy, I recommend the Honda Shadow...econonmically great with minimal mechanical problems.

I have been riding my 2003 Honda Shadow 750 for the past 3 years and love it. I'm 5' 1" and stand flat footed. The weight is just right. Ride & enjoy.
