Me and My Deluxe

Me and My Deluxe

I bought my first bike last year, a 2003 Sportster Custom. What a great motorcycle. After six weeks and 3,000 miles I realized that I may want to have something a little bigger.

A friend recommended the Deluxe, which I was hesitant to purchase... but after a test drive, I was convinced. What a wonderful motorcycle! With a couple of personal touches, this bike has been perfect for around town and across country.

The Deluxe, as I've been told, has a low center of gravity making it easier to handle. Doesn't feel as heavy as other bigger bikes.

I love it and would recommend it to anyone who loves the ride!

Absolutely Agree

I started on a Sportster 1200. Everyone told me I needed to try the Deluxe. I did a test drive, but ended up with a HD Heritage. It's one the same frame as the Deluxe and I did get it lowered. It handles much much better than the Sportie, partly because of the lower center of gravity. And, even though it's about 200 pounds heavier, it's easier for me to handle.

I am riding an 883 Sportster that I have had for 2 years. I want to move up to a Deluxe because I think it is an amazing ride. Yours is beautiful!

I Agree!

When I was shopping for a bike, many hinted that I should get a "small" bike being that I'm 5'3" and about 125 lbs. I did my research and it showed that the Deluxe had the inseam I needed and the lowest center of gravity (I was kinda stuck on the Harley's). I can handle the bike and I recommend it to anyone regardless of height. I'm the proud owner of a 2005 Softail Deluxe.
