Yamaha Vstar Classic 650

Yamaha Vstar Classic 650

I love this bike, keep thinking and hearing "you need a bigger bike" but I am so comfy on this one finally that I am not sure I want to break myself in on a new one. This bike was my Hubby's but I don't mind his hand me downs, after all, he is the one who got me riding! 650 Vstar classic named Pearl (short for the black pearl).

Doesn't matter.

Being comfortable and familiar with your motorcycle only makes riding more fun. Besides, you love her.

Just remind "everybody"
by: Sandra

it's not the size...it's how you use it! If you've put 6k on this season and LOVE it, I'd say you are using it JUST RIGHT!

Next time they tell you that you "need a bigger bike", just turn and ask them, WHY?

Stick w/what you love to ride. Imagine if someone told me I need a sport bike over my cruiser - I would never understand such a comment, because for ME a bike IS a cruiser!

That's what makes variety so great - you can have what you want and I can still choose what I want, right?

You and Pearl just keep the rubber side down; you are a great team!

Everyone I ride with tells me that too...I also have a V Star 650 Classic. I love my bike, she fits me perfect and I am completely comfortable on her. This is my first year riding and I have ridden her a little over 6000 miles this year, and never did I wish for more power! I've never had trouble keeping up with my husband on his 1600, and the Classic looks a lot bigger than it is so it lines up with his and doesn't look like a little bike :) I have no desire to "upgrade" because I am totally in love with her!! Ride what you are comfortable on.

Yeah, I am leaning toward that too, I had an old (vintage 1982) Honda Silverwing I loved....took a lot of riding to get happy on the Vstar, don't know that I wanna go thru that again. : )

Why change?
by: Elaien

If you love your bike why change? When you get a bike you are comfortable with why change? Have fun and be safe!!!

Keep it!
by: Anonymous

If you love it, keep it! If the bike fits you, you'll be a more confident, safer rider!
