Wide Boot Cut Jeans

Be careful with the extra wide boot cut jeans. I had worn them once and as I put my foot down to stop, my bottom part of the pants got wrapped around the pedal causing me to almost lose my balance. Luckily I got the bike to go over the the left side.

Boot Cut and Flare Cut Jeans....

That happened to me twice. You think the first time would have been enough. The first time I got my pant leg stuck on the Sportster I had almost 5 years ago. I bought a new bike last year and I think with it I got some amnesia...rode with a pair of bootcut jeans and got it stuck on the rear shifter peg. Didn't lay down the bike but sure did need a bathroom break pretty quick after that. Now I wear straight leg jeans on all rides.

Flair Jeans look good, but...

not so good when you've dropped your bike! Second day riding my new bike, come to a stop light, put my left foot down, then my right. But the right jean gets stuck on the foot peg and won't let me put my foot down.

Next thing you know, I'm laying the bike down. Only thing hurt was a couple of scrapes on the bike and my ego. Do they still make tapered jeans? lol

Yup, same thing happened to me, so I started wearing riding pants. They usually have velcro near the hem to cinch them in.
