Trike

by Nina
(Louisiana)

I get a lot of flack about riding a trike instead of a standard bike. Even more flack that my trike is a Can-am Spyder......it's a lot of fun and gets me on the road, especially after a fall last year and hubby doing his best to keep me off 2 wheels "so I don't kill myself".

Trike is great
by: Anonymous

We sold our two wheel and went to a HD trike-best thing we ever did. What the two wheeled people don't realize-when physical limitations are there and you don't know if you will stay up when you stop, time to get off. We could sit in the house or ride. We choose to ride-even had a box welded for a trailer hitch to carry our golf clubs, now we can do both we love. I am a passenger, but it has made me love riding so much more, I want to go to the next step. People who make comments about a trike don't know what they are missing. Go for it and don't care what they say!!!

Bike, Trike whats it matter
by: Lois

Theres an old saying Only a motorcyclist knows why a dog hangs his head out the window. It's all about the wind and the view. And it's the same weither you are the driver or pillion! I've been both in my life.

Turning
by: Nina

I too had a crash shortly after getting my bike. Hence, the trike. LOL. Yes the turning is different, but once I got used to the handling its is great. Just different, go test drive one!

turning corners
by: Chris

Dear Nina
Have just got my MB lisence and had a fall off on the gravel driveway and have lost my confidenceI have always wanted a Can am and would probably feel safer on one, people say they are really hard to turn corners with and that you have to slide into the corners, is this correct and if so cany you explain it for me, thanks very much

Trike

Thanks Gals - your comments are right on the mark with my thinking......I guess I just needed a little reassuring that I hadn't suddenly put myself into a catagory where I would have trouble maintaining my pride among riders.

trikes

I don't own one, but I think the Can Am trikes are awesome!!! A friend bought one last year and she loves it! Who cares about what other people think. That is THEIR problem!

If I could afford it, I'd add one to my garage! Have fun!

I ride a spyder, because that is what I want to ride. I ride it not the other person. Ride on and be safe.

triker girls
by: Barbie

I ride a trike, I love it... I never ever gave thought that 2 wheel riders would not like to ride with me...
As a matter of fact they "want" to ride with me. The attention from my ride is totally awesome, and you get to meet a lot of people.. And the two wheel riders (gals) want that attention too.. So they ride with me...
And besides, if they don't want to ride with me because of what I ride, then I am better off..
I have see riders that cannot stay balanced on two wheels and should be on a trike, for their own saftey and ours.
Trikes ara totally awesome. There is very little leaning (if any) it is mostly a push and pull (handlebars) ride..
Be safe and have fun,,

Be who you are and say what you feel... because those that matter... don't mind...and those that mind...don't matter!

Trike
by: Harlie K

Girlfriend,
You ride what fits you and don't let anyone push you around. Everyone has their own choice. If 3 wheels are what you feel more comfortable with then more power to ya.
I ride a Harley and would ride with you anywhere. Its not what you ride its that

YOU RIDE!!!!!

Do you really care what others think? You're the one on the trike, and you love it, right? I really believe that those who give flack about someone else's ride must have a lot of insecurities about their own ride or, more to the point, themselves. That goes for people who need to label others as "posers". Love what you ride, ride what you love, I always say. I ride a motorcycle, but I also think trikes are hot! Ride safe!

Trike
by: Dessa

I think you should ride & enjoy your trike, there's always going to be someone negative. I'm also triking out my bike & can't wait to be on the road . Every girl I've talked to about their trikes love them. Maybe I won't be cool to some, but I know my grand kids will think I'm the coolest grandma they know! Lol

Trike hassle
by: Deeann

Ride whatever you want to ride. Narrow minded people never stop to think that there are people who don't like what THEY ride either. While they are ridiculing you, they are being ridiculed behind their back. So just enjoy being "one up" on them. lol
