Safety Checklist

I am wondering what does a "safety checklist" consist of. I saw in the motorcycle driving manual that it says to do it before you ride and this site mentions it to, but what is it? What do I look for?

I always check my mirrors too, they can get knocked out of place without really noticing, I keep a cover on mine, sometimes taking the cover off if it gets moved a little.

T-CLOCK

MSF classes taught us T-CLOCK inspection before each ride; check your:
Tires
Controls
Lights
Oil/fluid levels
Chassis
Kickstand (make sure it's UP!)

I'm attempting to attach a T-CLOCK checklist I found on-line, that I leave hanging in my garage...fingers crossed I can load it. Watch for thread titled "T-CLOCK"
