Red face

My face gets red in areas not covered by helmet padding. I use make up so can't put on "gunk" but the red iritated part of my face needs to be handled. Live in Los Angeles Californa so it is warm all the time so a mask didn't seem to be right solution - unfortunately. Anyone have any suggestions?

Wear sunscreen under the make up or get one with sunscreen in it. I live in Florida and it does work. You have to put it on everytime you stop for it to really work. Or a shaded shield will help.
