New 2009 Suzuki Boulevard C-50T

I'm soooo excited. Yesterday, on my birthday, I treated myself to a brand new bike. I started riding 1 year ago in Feb. Right after I finished the MSF class and got my license I bought a new 2009 Suzuki S-40 - a little girls bike.

Yesterday, I bought a big girl's bike, a Suzuki Boulevard C=50 T. I rode my old bike to the dealer, traded it in and rode my nice new bike home. Woo-hoo, what a ride - what a difference. Since I was a new rider last year, I had nothing to compare my experience on the S-40 to. It was a 650, so had a little umph. But boy, what experienced riders have been tellng me, that a heavier bike is somewhat easier to ride - more stable, on the ride home on the C-50, I found to be true. How nice to have a gas gauge, and a nice extra (I had not expected) is being able to see what gear I am in. Although, now that I have real pipes, I can hear when I need to shift. Oh, and did I say that I love the foot boards?! OK, I guess it is evident that I'm excited about my new bike. Will take and post pics tomorrow.
