Happy Birthday Ole Girl

I got hooked on riding when my brother took me for my first ride on the back of his '47 Harley. Over the years I rode on the back of numerous bikes. This year my boyfriend who has a Road King started making plans with me to take some cool trips to Copper Canyon Mexico and Rocky Point. Then he realized that there wasn't enough cargo space for both of us on overnight travel. I was really bummed about it, then signed up for a rider course over Easter this year. By the end of April I bought my '07 Vulcan 900 classic. I turn 60 in January, and this is my favorite birthday present ever.

Glad to hear to are enjoying your accomplishments because it is a great one!

I got the motorcycle 5 years ago but still trying to get my license and enough confidence to ride it all summer.

Did You Ever Go to Mexico?

Hey there!

Have you gone to Mexico yet? Man and I are planning our vaca and Mexico is on the wish list but everyone thinks we are crazy based on media hype on how dangerous Mexico is. I'm at the point I want hear the facts from someone who has been there.

What a nice birthday present to give to yourself. What a nice bike. Keep us posted on how you like your bike. I considered a Vulcan but was unable to find a good value on a used one when I bought my first bike.

Wow! You Go Girl!

Isn't it nice to go for something you love to do? Happy Belated Birthday and keep riding and ride safe, too! I turned 50 last year and when I met my boyfriend, I didn't know he had a motorcycle and he came over one time with his bike and I got soooo excited and said you got a bike?!! Let's go riding!! He was impressed and happy that I love to go riding! And Now, I got my own bike and I can't wait to go riding with him when I finish my MSF class in August!
