Finally 4 ME!

Finally 4 ME!

Finally got my own bike, after using my boyfriends as a practice bike, I must say I'm having the darndest time with my take off on this bike compared to the GSXR! I got stuck at two traffic lights, it kinda discouraged me, but all I have to do is come back here for encouragement and inspiration!! Thank goodness for this website!!

To Jody

Hi, I have a Ninja 250cc and I am ready for the highway soon. My husband taught me along with the course. Don't go out of your comfort zone, know your limits. Everything will come with time and tell him you are not ready for what he wants or you may need to practice more on a certain maneuver..You are in control and it's ok to keep practicing..Every time I get on my bike, I ride around the block just to get a feel for her before I venture off..Practice and practice:) Good luck!!

Bike

I am happy to see I am not the only one going through this phase. I am 35 and I have ALWAYS wanted a bike and have never ever ridden one myself, just bought me a Kawasaki 250 and I am still learning but sometimes my husband make me nervous trying to teach me...I just have to keep on trying.

You Go Girl

That's great you finally got your own bike. It's usually take about 6 months for you to get to know your bike. I started on a Ninja 250, and bought a CBR 600rr and now I ride Hayabusa....I just love the sport bike...and i am going to be 46 years old....

Love the Bike
by: Barbara - Tulsa

I am so glad to see more women choosing sport bikes. They are so much fun. I started on the Ninja 250 about 5 years ago, now am on a Yamaha FZ1. You will get use to how much throttle to give it when leaving a stop. Every bike is a little different.

Good luck...have fun...be safe!
