Just riding

I've been riding with my husband many years now .he tells me as far as how the bike handles he doesn't know i'm back there .LOVE to go riding. we just got back from a trip that we put over 2000 miles on his Harley Ultra .very comphy bike on long trips .we rode the skyline Drive ,Blue Ridge Parkway ,charahola and of course the dragon.Though the dragon is not as much fun any more it's too unsafe with too many riders and there are police everywhere. we would rather ride the roads around the dragon. We then rode to Springfield Illinois to watch the Springfield mile. While there they had a bike sitting on rollers and secured so that if you never rode you could get on and learn to work the gears and throttle.I have never rode by myself and tried it .I did not lugg it or stall it ,and this really boosted my confidence and convinced me that i would really like to get my license . I would recomend this to anyone wanting to learn . call and ask dealers close to you if they have a bike set up for this . It goes a long way toward giving you an idea if you have the coordination and desire to ride on your own.
