Customize my leather jacket?

by Molly
(Holland, MI)

I have a great - and expensive! - black leather motorcycle jacket. Very comfortable. Fits great. Love it. It is not, however, reflective at all. Is it possible to have an existing jacket customized to make it more visible at night? Something that looks great and lights up when headlights hit it. I'd rather not spend another $350 for a new jacket.

I'm in the West Michigan area, if you know of someone how can do it.

Thanks!!

Check out the MSF website. They offer a black mesh reflective ve4st that is superior to most others in that the reflective parts are also easily visible even in daylight hours. The black vest can be worn over your jacket and is not obnoxious looking.

Check out some reflective patches. My boyfriend surprised me by having a beautiful orange/white "Lady Rider" patch sewn onto the back of my jacket. He didn't realize it at the time, but the white portion of the patch is reflective. It is pretty AND reflective.
