Bigger Bike

by Sue
(New York)

I have been riding for about 10 years and just bought a 1600cc because I wanted the power and a bigger bike, I have always ridden a 750. It's bigger but not crazy. I rode it in the parking lot after I bought it but haven't road it anywhere yet as it's winter here. Just want to know if turning a bigger bike will be different and does anyone have any suggestions.

A bigger bike will be different, and a little more to handle. You haven't mentioned whether it has a wideglide front end or a small front end. If it's a wideglide, it will be a little more challenging to turn at a slow speed, but once your rolling it won't be much if any different than your 750. Maybe take it to a big parking lot in the spring and practice your turns going at a slow speed.

Hope this helps. Cheers
