Dirt Bike opinion
by: Kel

I might recommend starting on an 80 or something if you get a 2 stroke, or a 150 4 stroke. Your size if perfect for a 125 2 stroke or 250 4 stroke but if you are not experienced, I would start smaller and graduate up. I personally love the 2 stroke bikes but they have a mean powerban and aren't as smooth as a 4 stroke. (my opinion) And wear gear!!! :)

Dirt Bike

I would suggest talking to some dirt bike riders for their experiences. Different strokes for different folks (2 or 4)but it depends on what you want to do with it. Sitting on them helps, but it is based on what you want.

Yamaha TW200

Check out the Yamaha TW200 or one of the other Yamaha dual sport models with knobby tires. I recommend going to a dealer, even if you don't plan to buy new. Sit on as many as you can, and then make your decision.
