Wear hair tied down and wear a thin hood under...

Well what I do, and i have hair that falls down to my breasts... I tie my hair into to braided pigtails-down lw on the head. Then if I'm wearing a hood or jacket of some sort, i wear my thin long sleeved hooded shirt under. I put the thin hood on before my helmet (also helps keep neck and ears warmer on cold nights)and when I take of my helmet I just pull down the hood- yeah its a bit fuzzy.. but not flat! and totally revive-able by just untie-ing your hair and flipping it back...
