I would like to thank everyone on this site for their words of advice and encouragement to "new" riders. It is because of you that I feel more confident riding. I have a long ways to go (just got my license in September) but know in time it will be worth it. Thank you!

Ditto for me!
Like you, I just started riding in September and was initially quite nervous and insecure about riding--especially since I don't have a riding partner or mentor. Reading the words of encouragement from the more experienced riders here was a huge benefit. Even the comments from other newbie riders about their own fears and frustrations was a tremendous help to me. It let me know that I wasn't a total motorcycle misfit and that my feelings were a normal part of the learning curve.

Thanks to the sisterhood of women riders on this site who have made a tremendous difference for us novice riders.
