Dyna Wide Glide??

Hi Ladies was wondering if anyone out there has or has test rode one of the new 2012 wide glides....been wanting too but the forward controls are way to out there for me...have some short leggs on me! Looking to trade up and have been thinking Fat Boy Lo or Softtail Slim...but this new Dyna is looking pretty nice, so i would love to hear from anyone who might have one!! Trading Up??

Hey ladies..my question is how long did you ride your sportster til you decided it wasnt the bike for you?? I want to trade mine in....for a Dyna! But my husband is telling me i need to "learn" to ride the one i have!! ARRRR!! well i can ride it....been riding it for 2 years... just dont like it!! I really enjoyed reading about you ladies who decided to go buy the bike that you really enjoy riding...i think it makes all the difference when you have a bike you LOVE to ride!! Happy and Safe riding to all!!

I upgraded my Sportster a year ago for a Dyna SuperGlide Custom. I like the Dyna line, but like you, am a little lacking in leg length, so I wanted the mid controls. Been loving it ever since!!!!!

My husband has a Wide Glide

His has the forward controls, which suits him fine, but I do understand your point. They can easily be modified for mid controls, or a Harley Fit Shop might be able to let you try one with a Super-Reach seat - if that is the bike that you want, don't let a little reach trouble to the controls stop you! Bo (hubby) loves his. It is stable, powerful, has a nice low center of gravity and a smooth ride - at least for the driver. Now, if you ever plan to carry a passenger I can tell you from personal experience that this bike NEEDS an upgraded pillion, and until Bo got one I was seriously uncomfortable. But if you ride alone, that is a non-issue ;-)

I have rode it at demo days handles real good I had no problems with it I thought about trading mine just don't know yet.
