How Our Bikes Looked Day One

Wow what a great adventure this years was. After years of being a rider I finally got my own bike. Our first real ride was a 9 day trip from MD to the tail of the dragon then to Nashville and back home. I know this sounds like the most stupid thing to do but I had ridden all the time before I had kids (they are now 25 and 23) so I took a safety class and did some small rides by myself. Then I hung onto my little old 800 Marauder for over 2000 miles but the most excitement was 6:30am Sunday morning heading from the Microtel to the Dragon.

Needless to say we arrived home safe and sound and within a month, my honey had traded my bike in and bought me a brand new C90T Suzuki.

This year we are going from MD, OH, MI, Canada across and down through the Adirondack and Catskills in NY, PA and back home to MD. We figure it will be about 3000 miles not counting getting lost or sight seeing. I will update you all with highlights and lowlights in Sept.
