Yamaha V-Star 1100

FINALLY. I finally upgraded, graduated, moved on!! I traded in my V-star 650 for an 1100. I rode "Lucky" for two years. She taught me how to ride. Now she has to go on and find someone else to teach. I love this 1100 V-star. I can now keep up with my husband on his 1700 Roadstar, sort of!

actually after riding next to Jay now for 2 years, my little 1100 is faster than his road star 1700. I'm off the line faster, and it can actally overtake him when I want to. In my opinion anything over 1100 or 1200 cc is just excessive. It's just enough. LOVE IT

Love it!

I have a 650 now and my husband has a roadstar 1600. He doesn't seem to understand that he's got much more horsepower than I do, so I gave up on trying to keep up with him. He eventually figures it out and slows down, a little.

Love the new ride! Congrats!
