1100 V Star Classic Yamaha

At 45 years of age "I DiD iT!" I'm riding my 1st iron horse a 1100 V Star Classic Yamaha and luvin' it. The beginning was exciting, midway was very challenging (I honestly gave up; fear stepped in after a fall) but thanks for God's blessing to fear not. I got back on my beautiful bike and have been riding with confidence every since!!!

I know how you feel, "I can't wait"!! I have to have a knee replacement and soon I'll say, I did it too.

Nice bike!

Funny how one spill may shake your confidence to the core at first; but if the desire is there I believe such a mistake will only serve to make you that much better of a rider. Kind of hones your "pay attention" skills - at least it did for me!

Enjoy...

Nice!
by: Lynn - SW Florida

I live across the coast from you in Port Charlotte,FL and ride the same bike. I love my VStar 1100 and recent completely my first very long ride up to the panhandle, into Alabama, Georgia and back home in 3 days (1200 miles). My trusty VStar did the trip with no problems. Aren't we lucky to be able to ride nearly year-round!

Kudos to you for not giving up, I will step into a larger bike next riding season, I started this year with a rebel 250 and only rode her for 3 months. Love every minute I ride her.

Kudos on your accomplishment glad to have ya on the road with us... however a little word to the wise would be to downsize a little bit, that's a BIG bike for a beginning rider...
