Winterizing my bike :(

It snowed today :( I guess I will have to put my bike away for the winter. I have a battery tender that I need to put on but as for all the other stuff, I am not sure what to do. The store trys to sell me a bunch of products, online sites give you detailed info, friends say put this gas additive in and you should be fine. My bike will be outside in a CycleShell enclosure. I was wondering what everyone else does to keep their bike in good condition?

Give her a good clean and polish first, make sure oil is topped up (it might be best to do an oil change so its fresh oil in the engine), spray with a little WD40 to protect the surfaces (excluding the brake discs!)..
Add fuel stabiliser to the tank,making sure the tank is as full as possible..
If its water cooled make sure the coolant mix is correct and can handle the lowest temperature for your area..
Try to get the bike off the ground on stands, if you can, so you dont get flat spots in the tyres, failing that move her round the garage in the winter..
You may want to stuff a rag in the exhaust (and the air intakes if you have them) mice and such have been known to set up home in them during the winter months
Take the battery off and keep it inside on the battery tender (cold will kill a battery)
Cover her up and hope the winter passes fast so you can get back out on her quickly

Change the oil and get some Sta-bil from walmart. Run the engine long enough to get it into the fuel lines, shut the gas off and let it run out of gas. Wrap it in a nice blanket and kiss it good night !
