What kind of bike would be a good fit for me?

by Brianna
(Wisconsin)

I am looking for a bike that would be a good fit for me.

My husband keeps trying to get me to try these huge bikes that are just too big. Where can I find or what kind of bike would be a good one for a starter and a smaller person?

Good Fitting Bike

Research the internet. Seat height and weight charts are available for even used bikes. Read, Read, and Read. Then go find a bike to sit on and ride if possible. After you find what you think you want research it to find hidden flaws. Buy used to learn on. Dropping a used inexpensive bike is not nearly as heartbreaking as dropping a $7000 dream bike. And it's less expensive to fix.
