wet electrical parts

Somehow when I was taking off my seat on my 85 Honda Magna the cap for the radiator reservior came off. This caused my bike to overflow with radiator fluid and got my positive and negative ignition wiring to get wet. Now my bike seems to short out and just stall out, then it won't even restart. My question is will the parts work again when they dry out or do I need to replace them? Thanks for your info and help!
