I bought a 2006 Kawasaki Vulcan Classic 900 lt. I love it. The only thing is that after I ride for about 170 miles when I come to a stop and start to take off the bike stalls. I have to push it off the road, because it won't start for about 10 minutes. I can not get the bike to go into neutral. I turn it off and turn it back on and I don't hear the fuel injection engaging or the vibration on the throttle. The neutral light does not come on. I literary have to stay and wait about 10 minutes for the bike want to start. This has happened 3 times now. Would like to know if anyone else has experienced this problem.

Why don't you check with your local dealer. Could be a reported issue and they will know how to deal with it.

Is the battery new?

I had trouble restarting after a stall with my BMW, but if I let it sit for awhile it would start. Then, one day, the motor would turn, but the bike would not crank. My battery needed charging. If your battery is old, it might be about to go bad. The newer bikes are computerized, and if the battery is getting low or about to go bad, they sometimes do funny things like not wanting to start. This may or may not be your problem. Good luck!
