Vintage Motorcycle Insurance

I am looking to buy my first motorcycle and it is a vintage bike (1976 Honda GL1000). I am female and 19 years old and have a clean driving history. Does anyone know how much per year insurance would roughly cost me in Ontario, Canada?

You best check 1st on if you can even get insurance on a vintage motorcycle without at least 20yrs of riding experience, most insurance companies will not insure a vintage bike with a new rider...

Classic Insurance

Check out Dalton Timmis Group they have a classic motorcycle policy. Last year mine was $600 per year for a 1973 Triumph. It will likely increase this year with the new insurance coverage.

In Ontario you are screwed...and will pay in excess of 5500.00 per year. Canadian insurance sucks!

The absolute best answer to your question is to call several different insurance companies, and compare rates. You may also be able to go online to compare rates.

Your rate will be based on your information, including your age, experience, driving record and possibly other factors. You don't need to make a commitment to buy from any of the companies in order to get rate information. You can compare the coverages and the rates before you make a decision to buy.
