slowing for the turns and curves
by: jp

Hi Arun,

As you are approaching a turn, pull in the clutch and shift into a lower gear. You can shift into the lowest gear that will keep the engine rpm up enough to keep running smooth while going slow enough for your turn.

You may need to brake a little to slow down, but the downshifting should do most of the work for you.

Also, just use the rear (foot)brake to do much slowing. Don't grab the hand brake hard, just a light pull there if you have to.

Stalled Engine
by: Wanda

Sounds like you are stalling the engine. When approaching a turn slow to about 15 or 20 mph, downshift into second gear, release the clutch, and then turn, rolling slightly on the throttle as you complete the turn.
