Too little for a big bike?

by Denise Klug

I am 5'1" and weight about 135. Am I too small to ride a Honda Shadow 750?

Too Big!
by: Anonymous

Absolutely not. My bike weighs 635 lbs. I don't think I could pick it up if I had to. I'm very careful when I park, making sure the front of my bike is going up hill instead of down hill, because I can't back it up going up hill. You will get used to it and how it handles and what you can and cannot do.

GO FOR IT!!

"If the shoe fits, wear it". If you like your Shadow, it fits you well, you feel comfortable on it, then the only one stopping you from enjoying it is YOU! Confidence comes from experience. The more you ride it the more confident you will be. Shadows are awesome bikes. I have enjoyed mine for 5 years. GO FOR IT!!

Men
by: Susanne

I can't seem to figure out why some men have to put their two cents in when I comes to MY motorcycle. I ride what I feel comfortable and safe on. In no way does anyone else's input matter to me. I am the one that will be riding it not them. Buy and ride whatever you like it's your bike.

thanks for the imput
by: Anonymous

Thanks for the imput..I am flat footed when I sit on the seat and the bike is so comfy. I am just a little intimidated right now, but I love my bike for sure and want to ride it so bad. Some guy told me it was too big for me and I fell for it, but that won't happen again. Thanks again, and happy riding.

Nope!...unless
by: Sandra

...you THINK you are. Did you sit on it? Can you reach the ground and/or feel stable in the seat? If the answer is no, can adjustments be made to the bike to allow you the stability you need to keep it upright while stopped or to allow you to back it up? There are lowering kits, seat modifications, thicker soled boots, all kinds of helps for the vertically challenged.

But if you don't FEEL comfortable and in control, it may not be the best ride for you, at least initially...
