Alone in Car
by: Donna

Don't you take your car anywhere alone? There should be no difference, except for riding skill. If you get lost alot in your car, then you will get lost alot on your bike. If you buy a nice bike, you should not have to worry about breakdowns. Sure if you crash your bike, you would need a cell phone. If you crash your car, you will need a cell phone. So I'm not seeing the difference, except in your confidence level.

Riding Alone
by: Brycie

I have had to do a lot of Single riding. I always take a fully charged cell phone in case of breakdown, etc. I trust my instincts on areas and places to stay out of, but sometimes it just happens that I get into an area where I really feel uncomfortable, but I keep on riding as quickly and safely as I can to get to a place that highly populated with lots of light and activity.

Some gals carry hand guns with them, but to me that is just inviting more trouble.

I do plan my rides and have friends that have my schedule, and I call them each evening to let them know how the day went, and where I am at.

But it is always much more fun to have another person riding with me.
