I just got my bike, '98 savage 650, and don't have the manual yet. but i still want to install saddlebags. But doing a Google search gives me way too much info and not what I'm looking for. I just want to know how to remove the passenger seat.

What kind of bike do you own? You can easily look up all that info on-line, or as someone already suggested get a Cylmer manual, will tell you everything about your particular bike, I mean everything!

Every bike works differently. Check the owner's manual. If you don't have one, you'll definitely need to get one.

I just got my first real bike (moved up from a scooter) and I have been looking at saddlebags...I wondered too how do I get the seat off to attach the bags.
