Unfortunately I am overweight but I am a beginner bike rider and want to know if the Kawasaki Ninja 400r would fit some one of my size and height.

Short-leg riders

I am 5'5" and ride a Honda VLX 600. I can easily sit flatfooted at traffic lights or keeps my feet "ready" to balance when pulling out or rounding turns at very low speeds. Weight is only 460 lbs. so it's not very hard to get it up if it dumps. You can get it up to approx 90 mph and has no problems sustaining 70-75 mph. Personally I like the years before '99 (Style changed a bit after that).

Best bike for a female

Paulette, congratulations on being a new rider. As far as the best bike for you, you really need to go sit on several bikes and see which one feels the best to you. You should see how easy it is for you stand it up and just see how comfortable it feels to you. That should help you to at least eliminate some. Good luck!
