Tall women's motorcycle jackets

by Karen

...are impossible to find!
Before someone suggests it, no, men's MC jackets won't work. It's the length of the torso that's the problem. Has anyone found a supplier? My tummy's getting windburn.

Dainese jackets NEW
by: Anonymous

I'm also 6' tall (and pretty tiny as well), so I had a really hard time finding a jacket. Found a shop where I could try them on, and I was able to fit into a couple of regular length Dainese jackets. Not all, but some seem to be cut a littler longer, I ended up settling on this one:

The impossible dream
by: Gina

Fieldsheer's idea of tall is 5'7" (that's what it says on their fit charts). I'm 6' tall. i don't want to wear a guy's jacket because the fit looks terrible. I ride a motor scooter and am desperate to find something. I know GoGo Gear has this Unisex sweatshirt with armor in it but I really don't like the look and fit of it and the arms are still too short. I'm not in a good position to pay $500-600 dollars for a custom leather. What's the deal manufacturers, you think all women who ride are 5'9" and smaller? :(

vests?

Got it this is a jacket site but if anyone can tell me where to find a TALL women's vest it would be greatly apreciated.

Please?

...I am happy for you if you have an average-length torso, but that doesn't apply to this post, so ...

Scorpion Jewel
by: Deb

Tried on a Scorpion Jewel the other day, hit mid butt in the rear and to lower abdomen in front. It's on my 'next jacket' list. All of their jackets are different in length. The Dahlia looks like it might be longer but haven't found one in my size to try on for fit locally yet.

My H-D pink/white mesh jacket hits mid hip.
Discontinued Fieldsheer Alpina is hitting the top of my hips comforatably.
I ride a scooter and a Honday 599 for reference to sitting position.

Tall Women's Jacket
by: Terry

I have the same problem with both jackets and pants being too short. I recently purchased leather pants and a jacket in extra long from Fox Creek Leather. They fit perfectly and are made from quality leather in the USA. If you're looking for leather, this is the best you will find!

Jackets
by: Katie

I am tall and large shouldered I wear a mans leather Rhyno jacket. I love it. The colours are more womany (LOL my own word) the jacket fits me great and I get compliments on it all the time. Womens jackets xl rarely fit me and if they do they are to short in the arms. I am very pleased with my man's jacket!

jacket to fit
by: Barbie

I got myself a fieldsheer ladies jacket there are different types of that brand. I am also a talk gal and find that the jacket fits well. It comes down over my hips in the front and in the back covers the small of my back and feels wonderful. (no cold air getting up my back. I live in Canada and it is more of an issue. I shop online and usually have to get a size larger then I usually wear.
I shop at motorcycle superstore
