Suzuki SV650s

I started out with an 05 Suzuki V-Strom 650 but could never get comfortable with it after a couple of drops. I decided to sell it last fall and look for something else. I started looking at SV's because they were similar to my V-Strom.

I sold my bike the week that my boyfriend, friends and I were scheduled to go riding in the mountains. I started frantically looking for a bike to buy before the trip but had resigned myself to riding in the mountains in my Jeep while my friends were on their bikes. The morning we were scheduled to leave, I got a call from one of the bike ads that I had been looking at and trying to make arrangements to go see. He called about 30 minutes before we were to leave and said he would be available for the next 1.5 hours. We hurried and finished packing the Jeep, hooked up the trailer and headed out. We figured that if we didn't buy the bike, we would just have a trailer with us. We got to the guys house and the bike was there in the driveway. At first sight, it was great. It was an 01 with only 5400 miles on it. My boyfriend took it around the block to check it out for me and said it ran great. He told me he thought it was a good buy so I worked out a deal with the owner and left with a bike. The owner had cut the price for me since the tires needed to be replaced and we headed straight over to the bike shop for new tires. We got up to our cabin and had a great weekend with my new bike. So far it has been a great purchase on my part and I am loving this bike. It was even one of my favorite colors.
