Suzuki GS 500

This is a great bike for the shorter rider. I am only 5"21/2" and have trouble finding a bike that I can reach the ground on flat foot. I am also an older rider(54 yrs.) and don't want to fight a heavy bike or to "lay" down on one. This bike to great!! I can can handle it by myself and it isn't over powered. I can keep up with my husband's Concour but I don't feel like the bike is to big or powerful for me. This is really a great starter bike also. I am presently looking at moving up to a Sv650. If you are looking for a cruise style bike the Suzuki Savage is also a good choice. The only problem with both bikes is there are not a lot a accessories for them. You have to make do.
