Suzuki DR 250

I ride a 2000 Suzuki Dr 250, which has a metal fuel tank. I'm wondering if it is possible to fit a 2001 or later model plastic tank to the bike so I can hit the trails more confidently.

I would call the Suzuki dealer or the mechanic or your local mechanic to see if it is possible to retrofit the tank.
