Storage/tank bag for 2004 Kawasaki Vulcan 500 Ltd

by Sylvia
(Austin, Tx)

I recently passed my MSF course and all that's left is the written portion. Fortunately I found a great bike but having a hard time finding storage/tank bag specifically for it. I'm okay with saddlebags but prefer the ease of tank bag. Even the small one I bought (and will return) which was a Bilt mini didn't fit it securely. Anyone else have the same or similar bike?
Mostly I like the convenience of having something I can get to quickly even if I have a backpack on.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the comment...I just returned the first bag and will check out your suggestion as well as keep looking. Turns out the MOM may be hard to find too. Hope not.
Officially have the endorsement on my license now too.

tank bag
by: Lois

I just purchased a nelson rigg CL-1020 tank bag with the optional suction cup mounting kit, I love it. I used it for a 4 day trip on my BMW F800ST, the st has the gas tank under the seat so the battery is under the cover and it's plastic. I couldn't use a magnetic bag and thought I'd give the suction cup a try it holds good and is easy to mount and remove has a carry handle and strap included, also has a rain cover. You can check it out at motorcyclegear.com
