Solo

I ride solo most of the time, my husband is a truck driver and only home once a week or so. This past weekend I decided to go to my daughters for a short visit she lives 300 miles away. I don't mind the highway but it can be boring compared to the backroads, at least around here. I had a great ride my little Ninja 500 was just right for the trip. My daughter was worried and made me call her every time I stopped but I understood her concern. This trip was for her anyway it was her birthday and her husband is in Iraq so I wanted to be with her. We had a good time together and I was sorry to have to leave so soon but had to get back to work. Well now that I've done the trip solo I can start planning the next trip but next time I'll try and find the back roads.
