I would suggest a BMW. Some of the classic bikes, such as Triumph (unless you buy a new cruiser style) are not comfortable for long distance riding. I just traded my 2007 Triumph Bonneville because I discovered I enjoyed distance riding and got easily fatigued on the Triumph. It was a beautiful bike for around town. I now ride a 2002 Yamaha VStar 1100 and ride all day without fatigue.
