Riding on Blue Ridge Parkway on 900 Vulcan Classic before?

I have 2008 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Classic, and I have been riding it for about 8 months after purchasing it. I have never ridden on Blue Ridge Parkway on my bike before. I have been riding in the back of my husband's Harley Davidson Softail Heritage for so long, and he wants me to ride my bike up there with him. I wonder if anyone has ever ridden Vulcan 900 Classic or LT bike on that road. If she has, did you have any problem with the Vulcan 900 bike? Please do let me know before I make any plan to ride up there in Oct. I have the seat custom-made to make my rear ends comfortable on any long trips Thanks
