Riding in rain

Does anyone have any suggestions for riding in rain - at night - for someone who wears glasses?

Do goggles work? or does a helmet with a windshield work?

Riding in the Rain

There is a product out there called Krystal Clear . Perhaps you could find it on the web, but I found mine at a gun show. Also you can find it at flea markets. You have probably seen the guy with the steamer trying to fog up your glasses or offering to clean them. This stuff really works. Put this on your glasses or helmet visor and water even want to stick to the glass. I would've want to do without it. Bit expensive, but worth it and it last a long time ($20.00) Looks and feels like greasy shoe polish. Hope this helps.

Visors
by: Peter

The best is a full face helmet, with a clean clear visor with a pin lock inner visor fitted. This keeps the very worst of internal misting at bay.
Also when buying a helmet check that the visor mechanism gives a good range of small openings so you can regulate the demising performance better. Some open to far at the first click.
Also fit a piece of foam rubber on the index finger of you left glove so you can wipe the outside of the visor easily.

Riding in gear

I live in Seattle, so riding in the rain is a constant. All of my gear is waterproof. I have a full-face shoei helmet, alpinestar jacket, gloves, & pants. I also have some knee-high boots. When riding in the rain I definitely drive slower and keep all of my lights on. I also put rainex on my visor so the water slides right off. On the inside, I spray anti-fog, or you can use a pinlock.
